Joint Bond
A bond that is guaranteed by the issuer and a party other than the issuer.
Junk Bond
A bond that is considered high yield but also has a high credit risk. Generally it is a low rated bond and is usually bought on speculation, with the investor hoping for the yield, rather than the default. An investor with high risk tolerance may choose to invest in junk bonds.
